Abstract

136,633. Sumbling, W. H. Dec. 17, 1918. Guards. - A guard for a grinding-wheel J on a spindle C turning in a boss B carried by the standard comprises an adjustable flanged plate G with a slot 2 which may fit the boss B, the guard being secured in the required position by a clamping-plate 5 overlapping the edges of the slot 2 and secured by a bolt 3 engaging a slot 4, which may have a curved end, in a bracket D integral with the frame. A boss 6 on the plate 5 engages the sides of the slot 2.
