1365993 Wind deflectors W BAIER W BAIER L SCHOBER and E SCHLUMPRECHT 22 May 1972 [30 July 1971] 23962/72 Heading B7J A pivotable vehicle wind deflector 10 held by lugs 11 is fastened to a shaft 9 carried in bearing supports provided with bearings 2, 3, and having retaining elements 5, 6, 7 and 8 mounted fast in the front gutter 1 of a gutter surrounding a closable opening in the vehicle roof (not shown), the elements 7, 8 being provided at their ends with resilient buffers 12 abutting a vertical wall 14 of the gutter and a canopy 13 and the elements 5, 6, having vertical portions 17 abutting a vertical wall 15 of the gutter 1, the portions 17 being prevented from moving vertically by a clamping member in the form of a cover bar 16, overlapping the free edge of the wall 15 of the gutter 1, and the portions 17.
