Abstract

1365608 Electromagnet for a contactor; electromagnets SPRECHER & SCHUH AG 21 April 1972 [14 May 1971] 18662/72 Headings H1N and H1P An electromagnet particularly for an electromagnetic contactor has recesses in its engageable pole face filled with a plastics material which may, due to repeated impact, spread on to the rest of the pole face to limit wear. The plastics may be an epoxy resin, polyester or polyurethane resin with a molybdenum sulphide filler and may be in the recess 7 which also locates a shorting ring 4 as well as in gaps 10 in the ends of laminations 11, 12.
