Abstract

1362974 Scraper conveyer troughs GEWERKSCHAFT EISENHUTTE WESTFALIA 30 Nov 1971 [30 Nov 1970] 55513/71 Heading B8A Sigma cross-section shaped side wall members for scraper conveyers have outwardly directed upper and lower flanges 11, 12. The latter may be formed with apertures for a floor plate 36. Or they may provide for securing cover members (44), (44<SP>1</SP>), (Fig. 5, not shown). A member 49 (Fig. 6) may be bolted to flanges 11 of two side-by-side conveyer channels to form a double conveyer. Barrier plates 34 may be bolted to each flange 11 and also to a bolt 33<SP>1</SP> (Fig. 7) secured to a recess 25<SP>1</SP>. The ends of each wall section may carry manganese steel end-pieces (42) (Fig. 2, not shown). Plates (29), (32) (Fig. 3, not shown), having keyhole and other shaped slots, may be welded in the longitudinally extending outer recesses formed by the sigma shape of the side wall, for the purpose of securing accessories (not shown).
