Abstract
1362630 Pipe connections STAMINA AG 26 Sept 1972 [15 June 1972] 44496/72 Heading F2G [Also in Division H2] A gas-tight bush for passing elements 3 (e.g. conductors or tubes) through a surface comprises an outer part 1 of low density metal, e.g. titanium, an intermediate part 2b bonded to part 1 and of material (e.g. steel) capable of being wetted by molten glass and a partition 2 which has glass parts at least at the positions where the elements 3 pass therethrough. As shown the partition is formed wholly of glass but in Fig. 2, not shown, the intermediate part is a disc with glass filled holes at the points where elements 3 pass through.
