Abstract

1360694 Spray nozzles T TADA 23 Aug 1972 [26 Aug 1971 25 March 1972] 39207/72 Heading B2F [Also in Division F1] The spray nozzle of a hand-actuated, pumptype sprayer (see Division Fl) is mounted on the pump piston 16, 17 and comprises a swirlproducing valve member 22 which, in the discharge stroke position shown, defines a swirl chamber 25 communicating with an outlet orifice 18 and with the pumping chamber via grooves 26, passages 24 defined by the polygonal shape of the member, and the piston interior, the member 22 moving back to contact abutment 21 on the suction stroke to cut-off communication between the pumping chamber and orifice 18.
