Abstract

1360668 Transceivers SIEMENS-ALBIS AG 29 Nov 1971 [17 Dec 1970] 55287/71 Heading H3A A frequency control circuit as claimed in claim 2 of Specification 1,285,526 wherein a further monostable circuit 14 having a resetting time greater than the sum of the resetting time of the monostable circuit 9 plus the time required to substantially discharge the capacitor 2 has its input connected in parallel to that of monostable 9, and that output of monostable 14 which produces an output signal when in its rest state being connected via a further resistor 16 to the input of amplifier 4. The control amplifier may be a differential amplifier (Fig. 2, not shown) having a first input connected to the output of discriminator 8 and a second input connected to the output of 14 for adjusting the operative point to the centre of the capture range of discriminator 8. In operation, monostable circuits 9, 14 are set simultaneously by the opening of switch 5, but the output of 14 changes from a positive value to zero and at the end of the pulse duration, the positive value re-appears and capacitor 2 acquires a further charge sufficient to adjust the operative point to the desired discriminator centre frequency.
