Abstract

1360352 Picture frames; hanging pictures W J MOHR 19 Jan 1972 2594/72 Headings A4U and A4X [Also in Division F2] A picture frame comprises four mitred frame components such as 1a of substantially channel section so that their opposed free edges grip the picture edges, the frame components being joined by corner units such as 2d each having projections 3 press-fitted into holes 4 in the frame components. Each projection may be in the form of a truncated cone 3, as shown; or a cylinder (8) with a truncated cone (9) on its free-end with the wider end outermost see Fig. 4, (not shown). The frame may be hung by eyes (10), Fig. 1, (not shown), having lugs (12) slideably received in holes (13) in the top frame component (16).
