Abstract

508,432. Picture frames. MAYER, R. July 18, 1938, No. 21244. Convention date, Feb. 15. [Class 11] To enable a picture to be mounted in exactly the desired position within a frame, it is mounted between two glass plates c, Fig. 5, which are hinged together by a strip h of adhesive tape. The picture is adjusted in position on one plate, and the other plate is tilted on to it. The plates are then placed in the frame, and are pressed forwards by springs e, Fig. 2, pivoted on the back of the frame at one end g and engaging in hooks f at the other end.
