Sunken ships, raising; floating-docks.-A buoyancy platform for raising sunken ships comprises one or more main central chambers 1 into which water may be admitted, or from which water may be expelled, and to which are pivoted girders 2, 2' carrying chambers 4, 4<1>, 4<2> at their free ends. Water may also be admitted to, or expelled from, these chambers, .and the girders are free to pivot only in a vertical plane. One Provisional Specification also describes a form in which vertical buoyancy chambers may be detachably connected to the central chamber without the use of girders.
