Abstract
1359077 Measuring wire tension electrically SCHWERMASCHINENBAU-KOMBINAT ERNST TH€LMANN MAGDEBURG VEB 3 Oct 1972 45561/72 Heading G1N The tension in a wire 11 is measured by the displacement of a roller 9 located between two guide rollers 7, 8, as determined by an indicative transducer 1 whose output signal is corrected at 13 for auxiliary factors such as diameter, stranding, etc, and amplified at 2. The peak value is obtained at 12 and the rate of change at 5. The amplifier output may also be used for control purposes at 6. The positions of rollers 7, 8 are adjustable by levers 14.
