Abstract

1358357 Gas storage containers LINDE AG 19 July 1972 [22 July 1971] 33702/72 Heading F4P Apparatus for storing a gas in a solvent, e.g. acetylene in acetone, comprises a plurality of cylinders 1 having pipe connections 2, 3 at each end to common manifolds 11, 10, the manifold 11 having an inlet and outlet connection, the cylinders being filled with a porous mass 9, e.g. kieselguhr or charcoal. The porous mass 9 may extend into the pipes 3 and manifold 10. Hoops (8), Fig. 1 (not shown), may surround a group of cylinders 1 to enable the group to be moved by rolling.
