1357651 One way acting brakes EASTMAN KODAK CO 17 June 1971 [17 June 1970] 28501/71 Heading F2E In a camera film transport mechanism a reciprocating ratchet mechanism includes a pawl mechanism with pawl 14, a slide member 12 reciprocable between end positions and having opposed parallel ratchets 22, 24, the pawl 14 being movable into engagement with the respective ratchets, when the slider 12 moves in one direction or the other, to prevent change of direction of travel between the end positions. Depression of a latch 2 by means of a button 3 at the end of travel causes a lug 8 to travel in one of two slots 30, 32 and pivot the pawl 14 to engage one or other of ratchets 22, 24, so that reverse motion of the slide may be performed.
