Abstract

1357525 Pressurized dispensing containers R G H JOB 9 June 1971 [12 June 1970 28484/70 Heading F1R A device for depressing the spring-loaded valve of a pressurized dispensing container mounted on one of two relatively moveable members comprises on the other member a spring-loaded plunger P mounted on a diaphragm M across a chamber C provided with a non-return outlet valve X and an adjustable throttle valve D. In one relative position of the moveable members the plunger P engages and actuates the container valve A through a ball PB and an actuator 7. Discharge continues until the container valve spring forces the plunger sufficiently upwardly against the spring 3, the rate of movement being controlled by the discharge of air from the chamber C. The full action can only be repeated after the plunger P and ball PB have been disengaged for an interval.
