1355973 Cathode-ray tubes TEXTILKOMBINAT COTTBUS VEB 24 June 1971 29705/71 Heading H1D In apparatus for irradiating an object or material with a pulsed, scanned beam of accelerated electrons, such that each pulse provides a radiation dose over the entire width of the scanning field, the scanning frequency and the beam current pulse frequency are in a constant ratio, and the phase of the scanning voltage is displaceable with respect to the leading edge of the pulse, whereby a reproducible adjustment of dose distribution may be effected e.g. to produce a symmetrical distribution.
