Abstract

1355712 Boots &c M F RUDY 6 May 1971 [2 July 1970] 53226/73 Divided out of 1355711 Heading A3B The subject-matter of this Specification is identical with that described in Specification 1355711, but the claims are concerned with an inflatable bladder adapted to bear simultaneously against a wearer's body and against a restraining member, the bladder including a multiplicity of adjacent chambers communicating with each other to provide uniform pressure in the chambers when the bladder is infiated, a first set of chambers being of such shape and size as to be deformable after inflation to a normal operating pressure and a second set of chambers being substantially rigid after inflation.
