Abstract

1366696 Buoyant body attachments B MARKWITZ 4 Nov 1971 [19 Feb 1971] 51297/71 Heading B7U An inflatable upper arm swimming ring comprises two endless strips 2, 3 of flexible watertight and airtight plastics foil connected together along their edges. The ring is formed over a single part of its circumference as a flat, non-inflatable surface 6 which is placed on the inside of the upper arm, and the strips are further connected in the zone opposite the non- inflatable surface along a line which divides the inflatable part into two substantially equal inflation chambers each having an inflation nipple with a plug. The length of each strip is between 230 and 280 mm. and the width of the inflatable part is 150 mm.
