Abstract

1355409 Knitting-machines G BILLI & C SpA 22 July 1971 [7 Aug 1970] 34324/71 Heading D1C In a circular machine the stitch cams are movable vertically downwards against spring pressure by a fluid control device. A slide 15 carrying a stitch cam 17 and a counter cam 19 is mounted on a stirrup 13. The slide also carries two screws 25A, 25B which determine upper and lower positions of the cams, by abutting upper and lower brackets of the stirrup. The slide is urged upwards by a spring 27. A lever 49, pivoted by a piston 43 of a pneumatic cylinder-piston systems 41-47 forces the slide downwards. Pneumatic lines for the systems are housed in a channel 53.
