Abstract

1355057 Teething devices; toy rattles HILARY PAGE "SENSIBLE" TOYS Ltd 14 Sept 1971 [30 Oct 1970] 51768/70 Headings A5R and A6S An infant's toy comprises a hand-gripping shank 10, twisted along its length and having a substantially flat plate part 11 at one end, the plate part having serrations, ribs or projections to constitute a part 15 for biting on to assist in teething. The shank 10 is twisted through substantially 90‹ and is provided at its other end with a bevelled hole 13. The plate part 11 has a hole (16), Figure 3 (not shown), therethrough bounded on both surfaces by a rim (17), and two domes 14 snap-fit thereon to form a hollow member in which a small bead or ball is contained to act as a rattle. The toy is preferably of a synthetic plastics material.
