1354988 Cutting pipes TRUBOPROKATNY ZAVOD IMENI LENINA 3 May 1972 20481/72 Heading B3T A pipe cutting machine comprises a vertical pillar 2 with two parallel members 3, 4, extending horizontally therefrom are above the other, the lower member 3 supporting a pair of parallel rollers 6 which support a pipe 8 and the upper member 4 carrying a pressure roller 10 which is transversely displaceable by pneumatic means 11 to secure a pipe between the three rollers. One of the lower rollers is power driven to effect rotation of the pipe and a cutting tool 15 mounted on a vertical slide 13 on the vertical pillar is displaceable by pneumatic means 16 to sever a length of pipe. The vertical spacing of the members 3 and 4 facilitates the transverse body of the pipe on to the rollers.
