1353989 Gas/liquid contact A R CUMMING and C G M SLESSER 11 Aug 1971 [12 Aug 1970] 37668/71 Heading B1F Gas effluent and possibly liquid, from gas/ liquid contacter 1 passes to gas/liquid separator 4, gas from separator 4 being recycled via 10 to contacter 1 whilst liquid from separator 4 flows down standpipe 5 where it is heated by separately controllable heaters 8, some is withdrawn at 12, the rest passes through cooler 6 and is pumped by pump 7 back to contacter 1. Further gas can be introduced at 3, and further liquid at 11.
