Abstract

1,222,698. Treating sludge. RIESER & VETTER A.G. 25 June, 1968 [27 June, 1967], No. 30346/68. Heading C1C. Oily sludges are heated and agitated by a fluid under pressure to break up the sludge. When the agitation is stopped the oil and water and sludge separate into layers and can be isolated separately. The heating fluid if used can serve as the agitating fluid.
