1352320 Securing coils for dynamo-electric machines REYROLLE PARSONS Ltd 19 April 1971 [2 April 1970] 15752/70 Heading H2A In a dynamo-electric machine having a D.C. excited field winding mounted in slots in a cylindrical rotor, some of the slots are of greater width than others and the rotor conductors are held in position by a non-magnetic sleeve surrounding the rotor. The sleeve 5 may be made of non-magnetic alloy, e.g. nickel alloy, or of reinforced synthetic resin. It may comprise a plurality of rings arranged side by side, Fig. 1 (not shown), and shrunk on to the rotor.
