1351690 Cement making STICKSTOFFWERK PIESTERITZ VEB 6 Aug 1971 37072/71 Heading C1H In producing H 2 SO 4 acid cement from waste gypsum obtained in the production of H 3 Pe 4 , the expulsion of fluorine is prevented by adding to the CaSe 4 containing raw meal (defined) or its components sufficient CaO at least partially to neutralize the H 3 Pe 4 liberated from the waste gypsum upon heating the raw meal, the degree of fluorine fixing corresponding to the amount of CaO added. Any Ca compound giving rise to CaO under the reaction conditions can be used. Calcination is in a reducing atmosphere.
