Abstract
1351017 Alloys SURFACE TECHNOLOGY CORP 19 April 1971 [4 March 1970 (2)] 23589/71 Heading C7A A graded nitrided material comprises at least one metal selected from each of the following groups:- and in which 0À1-25% of the nitrogen weight pickup is replaced by oxygen and/or boron. The relationships between the amounts of metals of the three groups are as stated in Specification 1221465. In a modification Group II consists of Ti only, the nitrogen pick-up is at least 0À1 milligram per square cm. of surface area and the relationship between the metals of the three groups are as stated in Specification 1239941.
