1350860 Measuring dew point electrically NAUCHNO-ISSLEDOVATELSKY I PROEKTNOKONSTRUKTORSKY INSTITUT OBOGASCHENIA TVERDYKH GORJUCHIKH ISKOPAEMYKH 3 Aug 1972 36344/72 Headings GIN and G1S A flue gas dew point temperature transducer comprising a shell 1, primary cell electrodes 3 and a thermocouple 4 disposed on a part of the shell outer surface to define thereon a flue gas vapour condensation area, a coolant inlet duct 5 and a coolant outlet duct each disposed within the shell for supplying and discharging respectively coolant to and from that part of the shell internal surface which coincides with the condensation area wherein the outlet duct is formed as a helix wound around the inlet duct. The electrodes are of different metals and constitute with the electrolyte formed on the condensation area at a temperature equal to the dew point temperature of the flue gas under test a primary cell. In an alternative embodiment (not shown) the inlet duct forms a helix wound around the outlet duct.
