Abstract

1350704 Paprika; pepper; lemon oil BAYER AG 9 March 1972 [10 March 1971] 10933/72 Heading A2B [Also in Divisions A5 and B2] Example 5 describes particulate paprika extract coated with beef tallow to form a pourable powder with improved storage stability. The powder size is from 0.4 to 0.8 mm. Black pepper may be similarly coated (Examples 6. and 7) to form a pourable powder of 0.2 to 0.5 mm diameter. Lemon oil may be treated (Example 8) to form lemon oil cores coated with stearic acid to form a pourable powder with a particle size of from 0.5 to 1.0 mm.
