Abstract
1350087 Electric couplings RADIALL 15 April 1971 9549/71 Heading H2E A lead 1 is connected to a coaxial connector C by being located in an oblique slot 3 in a sleeve 2 surrounding the connector C, the ends of the slot 3 being angularly separated relative to the axis of the sleeve 2 by at least 90 degrees; a deformable cylinder 4 surrounding the sleeve 2 is crimped as shown to secure the connection. The slot 3 may be straight or helical; in the latter case, the sleeve 2 may be made by rolling up a parallelogram-shaped metal sheet, leaving an open seam to form slot 3.
