1347811 Inlet manifolds LYNX ENG (SALES) PTY Ltd 11 Aug 1972 37617/72 Heading F1B A four cylinder engine has a twin choke carburettor and an intake manifold having ducts 9..12 whereby one of the chokes is in communication with two of the cylinders and the other choke is in communication with the other two cylinders, the ducts being so arranged so that in normal engine firing order the first and third cylinders to fire are connected to one of the chokes and the second and fourth cylinders to fire are connected to the other of the chokes to ensure that any two successive firing strokes are respectively fueled by one of and then the other of the two chokes.
