Abstract

1347652 Endless conveyers BORG-WARNER (CANADA) Ltd 29 June 1972 30613/72 Heading B8A Material is deposited on to endless belt conveyer 3 by hopper 13 and carried upwards by endless belt conveyer 4 which co-operates with belt 3, the edges of the two conveyers meeting in sealing engagement. The forward run 7 of belt 3 comprises a substantially horizontal section 12, a concave section 15 and an upwardly sloping, downwardly facing section 14 while the forward run of belt 4 comprises a first section 21, a convex section 24 and an upwardly sloping, upwardly facing section 23. The sections 12, 24 and 23 are troughed and supported by rollers 16, 22 as shown. Both belts are provided with automatic belt tensioning means 50, 51.
