1345510 Benzodiazepine compositions AMERICAN HOME PRODUCTS CORP 11 Jan 1973 [21 Jan 1972] 1502/72 Heading A5B A parenterally acceptable pharmaceutical composition comprises (a) 10-65% of polyethylene glycol based on the total volume of solvent, (b) 35-90% of propylene glycol based on the total volume of solvent, (c) optionally benzyl alcohol and (d) for each ml. total volume of (a), (b) and (c) 1-15 mg. of a benzodiazepine of formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> are H or CH 3 and R 3 is H or Cl.
