Abstract
1344294 Fabrics &c G OROSCHAKOFF 12 May 1971 [12 May 1970 11 Sept 1970] 14510/71 Addition to 1340051 Heading D1K [Also in Divisions E1 and E2] Reinforcement cages are prefabricated from longitudinally extending sections, each comprising longitudinal and transverse rods, by hooking one section into another section and then resiliently deforming one of said sections to cause it to engage the other of said sections or a third section. The sections are either planar or contain bent transverse rods. In the embodiment of Figs. 21-25 (Figs. 21, 23 not shown), a section III is located in section I, and then section II is hooked over a rod of section III, rotated into position and resiliently deformed to hook into section I. In the embodiment of Figs. 45-50 (not shown), planar sections are used at the top and the bottom of a rectangular cage. The embodiment of Fig. 51 (not shown) has eight sections, that of Fig. 52 (not shown), four, that of Figs. 53-57 (not shown), six, and those of Figs. 58-61 (not shown), four. Further embodimenst are described, including cylindrical reinforcements in Figs. 87 and 88 (not shown).
