Abstract

1344056 Pull anchor INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP 21 Sept 1972 [25 Sept 1971] 43691/72 Heading H2C A cable pulling anchor comprises an eye 2 on a hollow shaft 3 which has openings 5 in its wall. In use the shank is driven into the end of a cable and resin is injected into a shank through a hole 4, the resin then passing out of the holes 5 and bonding the anchor to core of the cable. The eye is then attached to a wire, e.g. for pulling into a conduit. The holes 5 may be arranged in a helical pattern on the shank and may be larger towards the point. The shank may have a triangular cross-section.
