Abstract

1344015 Humidifier E H G PERCEVAUT 7 Jan 1972 [8 Jan 1971] 844/72 Heading B1R Apparatus for simultaneously humidifying and filtering air comprising a box open at its base for receiving warm air from a heat source such as a radiator 2 and containing a liquid receptacle 3 positioned such that warm air from the heat source will evaporate some of the liquid and humidify the rising air, and deflectors 6 and 7 made of a material capable of filtering dust particles from the air, the deflector 6 being shaped such that a centrifugal motion is imparted to the air to cause the dust particles to fall into the receptacle 3. The deflectors 6 and 7 define an opening such that the main body of purified and humidified air be passed to the atmosphere.
