Abstract
1342747 Point holograms PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 29 Dec 1970 [30 Dec 1969] 61541/70 Heading G2J A point hologram is formed by reconstructing the real image 7 of a first point hologram 8 made by exposing a photographic plate to a point reference source and a point object which is moved in a stepwise manner between exposures, providing a point reference source 11 in the plane of the real image 7 and recording as a second point hologram 10 the interference between radiation from image 7 and reference source 11. A lens 9 is used to focus the real image 7 onto the second hologram plane. In forming the first point hologram 21, Fig. 2 a point reference source 16 is used. A point object source 20 is movable in two co-ordinate directions together with prisms 18, 19 to form the point array on hologram 21. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1233242.
