Abstract
1339348 Measuring durations of 'objects' COMPAGNIE GENERALE D'ELECTRICITE 19 April 1971 [4 March 1970 26 June 1970] 23002/71 Heading G2J Two 'objects' are compared by superimposing wave surfaces from the two 'objects' to give an interference pattern which is formed into an image by a variable focal length lens and 'studied! The 'objects' include an actual object or one or both may be holograms of objects and the two 'objects' may be separated in time such that the comparison shows movements of a single actual object by comparing its present state with a hologram representing its state extant in time. The "study" may be visual, but, as described uses a computer to record data including the focal length of the lens to derive useful results. Formulae are given.
