Abstract

1342462 Chain connectors WILLIAM PRYM-WERKE KG 7 March 1972 [8 March 1971] 10617/72 Heading F2Q A chain connecting resilient plastics link comprises a curved portion 3 from which extend two resilient limbs 1, 2 having curved-end portions 5 which are separated by a gap 4 through which the links of chains to be connected can pass when the limbs 1, 2 are bent outwardly. Holes 6 in the limbs 1, 2 are counterbored each end to receive a double beaded plastics locking pin 7 one end of which is split into sections 8 for deformable snap assembly into the link holes 6 after making the connection between the chain links. If the locking pin 7 is not used the plastics link can readily be used as a removable connection between two chain links.
