1342419 Liquid level indication A G MARSDEN & SON Ltd 18 July 1972 [1 Oct 1971] 45701/71 Heading G1H In an alarm device, such as for use in an I. C. engine cooling system, which indicates when the liquid falls below a predetermined level a non- magnetic container 1 contains a pivoted float 2 which carries a magnet 3 to operate a magnetically operated reed switch on the outside of the container 1 and in circuit with lights 14, 15 in an alarm box 13, Fig.3 (not shown). The container 1, float 2 and its suspension may be of a non- ferrous material such as copper, brass, aluminium, plastics or non-magnetic rustless steel.
