Abstract

1341989 Brassiere frame S & S INDUSTRIES Inc 8 April 1971 9046/71 Heading A3V A curved frame 10 for reinforcing a brassiere cup is provided at each end with a cap 11 which is resiliently fitted over the end of the frame and held in position by the engagement of a tab 14 on the frame in a recess 15 in the cap. The frame may be of hypereutectoid steel, plastics or fibre glass and the caps of rubber or resilient plastics e.g. polyethylene. One or more holes 16 may be formed partially through the caps to facilitate sewing of the frame to the fabric of a brassiere. (For Figure see next column)
