Abstract

1341274 Liquid level indication ROLAND OFFSETMASCHINENFABRIK FABER AND SCHLEICHER AG 19 April 1971 [17 March 1970] 24156/71 Heading G1H In a device for sensing the level of ink 2 in a container 1, a three-armed pendulum 4 is rotated in one direction about a pin 3 by an armature 6 of a frequency pulsed electro magnet 7 and returned by a tension spring 19 to open or close a pair of contacts 10, and the pulses emitted by the contacts 10 varies in frequency and amplitude, depending on whether or not the pendulum 4 dips into the ink 2, to operate a pump 23, Fig.2 (not shown), to supply ink to the container 1.
