Abstract

1341236 Cooling cement clinker CLAUDIUS PETERS AG 16 April 1971 9608/71 Heading F4B Apparatus for cooling cement clinker discharged from a rotary furnace 1 comprises grate coolers 3 and 4 discharging on to conveyers 5 feeding a central discharge point and a trapezoidal distributer 8 mounted on rollers 7 whereby the proportion of clinker may be varied, or, in the event of damage, diverted to one of the grate coolers. The distributer may be a plate (Fig. 3), a pair of separately driven grates (Fig. 4) or a part-spherical table (Fig. 5) whose inclination may be varied. (For Figure see next page.)
