Abstract

1340466 Suction cleaner nozzles ALLSTAR VERBRAUCHSGUTER GmbH & CO KG 10 April 1972 [ 12 May 1971] 16397/72 Heading A4F A suction cleaner nozzle comprises a hollow body 3 having a connector 2 for a suction pipe, an insert 4 partly closing an opening in the body 3 facing away from the connector 2, and a brush covering 5 or the insert 4 peripherally clamped between a bottom plate 6 of the insert 4 and an upper clamping part. The brush covering 5 may comprise a textile sheet having brush bristles so inclined that when the nozzle is drawn over a surface to be cleaned, fromleft to right in Fig. 4, the bristles collect dirt particles, which are released when the nozzle is moved in the opposite direction and are drawn into the suction pipe via the suction opening 17 and the connector 2. The brush covering 5 is carried by an upholstery liner on the plate 6 and is clamped between teeth 7 and the plate 6 and ribs 9 on a part 8 connected by a latch 10 to the nozzle body 3. In an alternative embodiment the parts 8, 10 are omitted.
