1339422 Refractories FOSECO INTERNATIONAL Ltd 22 April 1971 [22 April 1970] 19359/70 Heading C1J Refractory bricks are obtained by isostatically pressing a mixture of refractory and a solid which, on heating, generates H 3 PO 4 and/or oxides of phosphorus but leaves no metallic residue, and heating. Specified solids are ammonium phosphates, amine phosphates, hydrazine and NH 2 OH phosphates, and waxy alcohol and polyalkylene glycol phosphates. Refractories mentioned are Al 2 O 3 , fireclay, grog, mullite, MgO, BeO, TiO 2 , ZrSiO 4 and calcined dolomite. Clay and wax are optional.
