Abstract

1338960 Garment hangers TOMADO N V FABRIEK VAN METAALWAREN 16 June 1971 28276/71 Heading A4U A garment hanger comprises wire limbs 1, 2 which are straight and closely parallelly spaced throughout the major part of their length and are pivotally connected by a tubular pin 4 engaged in eyes 3, 5 formed by bending the ends of the limbs. The arm 2 has a suspension hook 6 and a closure 7 to receive the free end 8 of the garment-supporting limb 1. The parts of the wires forming the eyes are bent in opposite directions and the ends of the pin 4 are flared to engage around the eyes and prevent axial displacement. In a modification, the pin is formed by a vertical extension of one of the limbs which has a terminal enlargement to prevent axial displacement and may also form an eye.
