Abstract

1,175,616. Garment hangers. A. STEIN. 11 Oct., 1967, No. 46354/67. Heading A4U. In a garment hanger members 30, 32 for insertion into trouser cuffs are urged apart by a coil spring 24 encircling the overlapped ends of semi-cylindrical rods 20, 22, rigid members 34, 36 welded to the outer ends of the rods being formed with a finger-grip portion 42, for approximation of the members 30, 32, and hooks 44 detachably engaging a wire frame 14 secured to a coat &c. hanger 10. In a modification, shown in Fig. 3, one portion 42 is formed as a suspension hook 46 for engagement with a garment rail, and a single skirt-bandengaging member is provided at the outer end of each rod.
