1338429 Olefin disproportionation catalysts SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ NV 26 July 1971 [28 July 1970] 34872/71 Addition to 1117968 Heading B1E [Also in Division C5] A catalyst for disproportionating olefins comprises (i) one or more compounds of Mo and/or W (ii) one or more compounds of Re supported on a carrier, preferably alumina, the amount of rhenium being at most 7wt% calculated as Re 2 O 7 . Optional components are alkali or alkaline earth metal compounds or rare earth metal compounds.
