Abstract
1313174 Conversion catalyst ESSO RESEARCH & ENG CO 15 May 1970 [2 June 1969] 23686/70 Heading B1E [Also in Division C1] Catalyst compositions for hydrocarbon conversion are formed of a support and a high surface area nitride of boron, aluminium or silicon, the nitride having been formed by a method involving mixing a nitride precursor with a matrix material, nitriding and then dissolving away the matrix (see Division C1). Examples 13 to 15 describe compositions of boron nitride with an alumina or silica-alumina support (with a nitride to support wt. ratio of 20/80).
