1337077 Spindle mounting arrangement SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 19 April 1971 [6 Feb 1970] 21350/71 Heading DID In a mounting arrangement of the kind in which spindles 18 are accommodated in bearing housing 16 which are fixed to supporting members 24, each of which members 24 is attached to the free end of at least one leaf spring 26 or 28 mounted on a support block 22 rigidly fixed to a spindle rail 10 and is pivotable by means of the spring 26 or 28 in relation to a tangential spindle drive belt 12, the members 24 are fixed to their associated block 22 by at least two leaf springs 26, 28 the ends of which are spacedly arranged from each other on the block 22 and/or the member 24. The springs 26, 28 may be arranged parallel to each other or may be at an angle, e.g. at right angles as shown. A hand lever 44 serves to pivot the member 24 to disengage the spindle driving pulley 20 from the belt 12 and engage it with a brake shoe 40.
