1335829 False floors CENTRAL FLOORING Ltd 19 April 1971 [21 Feb 1970 10 March 1970 22 May 1970 4 June 1970 11 July 1970] 8431/70 9754/70 24801/70 11357/70 26933/70 and 33775/70 Addition to 1236484 Heading E1W Support pillars for false floors with triangular panels 13 which have at least two of their apical points cut away comprise plastics or steel posts 11 with circular bases each post resting with its base engaging a plate 8 welded inside a body member 15 or resting on inbent lugs of the body member 15. Notches 14 in the apical portions of the panels engage the rim of the body 15 and the panels abut the posts 11. In another embodiment a post 33 has an annular flange 34 with a peripheral truncated conical formation 35 the upper part of which has castellations 34a formed by in bending portions of the formation such that the extent of the castellations engage inside the upturned tray like panels holding them in abutment with the post 33. Spacing washers 37 provide individual height adjustment to each post. The pillars may be seated on a resilient pad placed on a concrete sub floor. The post may consist of two triangular crosssection portions arranged apex to apex to form opposed angular recesses to locate an apical point of each panel which is not cut away. An electrical socket may be incorporated in the post.
