Abstract
1335347 Gas chromatography BECKER DELFT NV 19 April 1971 [24 Jan 1970] 3556/70 Heading B1X Gas chromatography apparatus comprises a column 2, e.g. of stainless steel, nickel, glass, quartz, ceramic or glass-ceramic, connected by an adaptor 3 to a flame ionisation detector 1 which extends into a sealed chamber 6. Fuel, e.g. hydrogen, for the detector is fed in via line 4. The detector may instead be connected to the centre of the column. The pressure within the chamber 6 may be controlled. Chlorine, hydrogen chloride, thionylchloride and sulfuryl chloride are analysed.
